Tahiru is an active boy whose favorite activity is playing football. He is in KG (1) one and dreams of becoming a medical doctor when he graduates high school. He has one sister and three brothers. To help his mother around the home, he washes the dishes. His father lives in Ghana working as a farmer to help support the family.

 

 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families, and idol worship make life more difficult.
