Precious is a very sweet child who loves running and playing with her dolls. She also enjoys helping in the kitchen at home. Precious lives at home with her father and her three brothers, unfortunately, her father likes to gamble and has no job which makes it difficult. She is in the 1st grade this year and dreams of one day becoming a nurse. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
