Samath is an active child whose favorite activity is soccer. He lives with his mother who takes care of him and his siblings. He has one brother and two sisters. To help out in the home, he washed dishes and does the sweeping. He is in the 4th grade this year. Life is not easy at home due to their father leaving them all. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
