Hamid is an active boy whose favorite activity is playing football. He is in KG (1) and dreams of becoming a teacher when he graduates high school. He has three sisters and two brothers. To help his mother around the home, he sweeps the compound. His father lives in Ghana working as a farmer to help support the family.

 

 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families, and idol worship make life more difficult.
