Essenam is a fun little girl who enjoys many activities but especially enjoys playing with her dolls. She has one sister who is older than she is. She is in pre-k this year and loves school. Her father is a teacher.  A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
