Cesar lives with his parents and one brother in the town of Vogan where he assists his family by sweeping and washing dishes. When he is not helping out at home he enjoys running. He is in the 7th grade this year and dreams of becoming a soccer player one day after he graduates. His father has recently moved back home from Nigeria but currently has no job and his mother is pregnant. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
