Akouvi is a very sweet girl, she is in the 3rd grade this year and dreams of becoming a stylist after she graduates. She enjoys many activities, but especially enjoys playing Ampe, a rhythm and clapping pattern game. She lives with her mother, two sisters and one brother. To help at home, she washes dishes, does the sweeping and enjoys cooking. Her father lives in Nigeria working as a taxi driver to support the family. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult. 

Your sponsorship will make it possible for Akouvi to attend Vogan Christian Academy where she will receive help with her schoolwork, food and spiritual discipleship.
