Favor is a second grader and a new student in the school this year, her favorite activity is Ampe, a rhythm and clapping pattern game. Her father is a first-grade teacher at VCA. She has three brothers and one sister. To help at home, Favor does the dishes and the laundry. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
