Akossiwa is a very pleasant girl, she is in the 2nd grade this year and dreams of becoming a hair dresser after she graduates. She lives with her mother, two sisters and one brother. To help at home, she washes dishes, does the sweeping and assists with carrying water. Her father lives in Nigeria working as a taxi driver to support the family. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult. 

Your sponsorship will make it possible for Akossiwa to attend Vogan Christian Academy where she will receive help with her schoolwork, food and spiritual discipleship.
