Jeremie is a sweet child, his favorite activity is playing soccer. He lives with his parents and three brothers. His father is a tailor. To help at home, Jeremie does some of the sweeping. He is in the 2nd grade this year and dreams of becoming a mason when he graduates. 

A typical home is a single room constructed with mud bricks with a tin roof. Families get their water from local wells or streams. Challenges such as malaria, typhoid, divided families and idol worship make life more difficult.
